WELCOME TO LEADING FIELDS
Leading Fields is a unique short term rental property, a perfect place to retreat. People need a place to "retreat, celebrate, rejuvenate" to find solace, sanctuary and peace; to relax, renew and reflect. A place where retreating will lead to advancing, with space to breathe freely. A place to explore their inner creative selves and to connect with nature, Leading Fields provides this. A privately owned home in the hills above Woodstock, VT with 186 acres of grassy fields, Vermont hills and beautiful woods. There is a labyrinth for meditation, a swimming pond, flower gardens, a yoga room in a greenhouse and hiking/mountain biking trails, as well as ample indoor space in a beautiful and peaceful home. Leading Fields is the perfect place for a small group of family or friends to retreat. Yoga, meditation, wellness, writing, painting, drawing, and music are all possible during your stay. Assistance planning your experience at Leading Fields is available.
The home has been renovated with love by the owner, who wanted to preserve her grandmother's land in her spirit. Her grandmother was a sculptor and her soulful work is on display. It's likely that you've already experienced the magic that happens when we take time out of our busy lives to visit a beautiful landscape, well Leading Fields is the perfect place to find your inner magic.
Leading Fields is available as a short term rental. Each bedroom has a private bath, and the house will accommodate small groups comfortably. All bedding is organic and hypoallergenic. By Joan C. Woodstock, VT July 22, 2018- "I spent a glorious morning visiting Stacey at her extraordinarily beautiful and tranquil location. The carefully restored home and studio of famed artist Barbara Kaufman is inviting and full of a spiritual presence that inhabits the rooms, as well as the evocative statues placed discretely among the gardens and hillside. These invite you to explore the amazing property with extensive Vermont views of mountains and valleys as well as a labyrinth on a hillside. I felt a loving and expansive energy there and would recommend it to anyone who wished a remarkable place to spend several nights."
